Isabelle Peabody's desire to paint grew from an authentic love for life and the need to awaken the senses and feelings within her. Isabelle has pursued many facets of creativity including music, dance, pottery, graphic design and painting.

After studying many forms of artistic expression, she eventually earned a degree in Creative Arts therapy, by which she defined herself as an abstract expressionist artist.



Isabelle's artistic experience has allowed her to shape a passionate energy onto a canvas by exploring physical elements such as movement, gesture, and color, with a personal emphasis on line. She has developed her own form of perception that includes the use of the palette knife and lunging brushstrokes, all styles that represent her unique and dynamic approach to self-expression. Isabelle draws inspiration from influential abstract artists such as Franz Kline, Willem De Kooning and Jackson Pollock.

Isabelle's work has been exhibited at select galleries, schools and restaurants within the Boston area and New York City.
